There may be one or two places left on the New Year trip to Bracken Tor YHA for five nights from Sunday 28th December 2014 to Friday 2nd January 2015.

We have exclusive use of the YHA which is situated near the Dartmoor National Park and close to the town of Okehampton.
The YHA sits in 3 acres of gardens on the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park and has direct access to moorland from the grounds. Dartmoor is the largest and wildest area of open country in Southern England with beautiful scenery and an abundance of walking routes.
There are 30 places and the cost is £100 per person which includes accommodation, breakfasts, packed lunches for walking and a communal meal on New Year's day.

An optional New Year's eve meal is planned at the White Hart Hotel Okehampton which is within walking distance from the YHA followed by a party back at the Hostel.

Why join CLOG

CLOG is very different to other groups you may come across:

• 4-8 different events most weeks

• As well as day walks, we also do:
Weekend trips in the UK
Regular social events and bike rides.
Longer trips including trips abroad
Monthly opportunity to try many different outdoor activities such as white-water rafting, Go Ape zipwire, climbing the roof of the O2, mountain biking, skating, cycling at the Olympic velodrome, caving, abseiling and horse-riding

• Around 200 members and many of these come regularly, so new people will soon find that most events have some people they know.

• Events are either free, run at cost or occasionally subsidised. We are a non-commercial and not-for-profit group

• All our events are organised by volunteers and any member can organise an event

We hope you will join us and continue to attend events
